If you arrive earlier or you want to enjoy the last day you can store your luggage in our "Base Camp" storage room.
Shopping
The supermarket (Coop) is in 3min walking distance and is open daily from 8 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. During low season Saturday until 5 p.m. only, Sunday closed.
On request we organize the first shopping for you. Let me know 24 hours in advance.
Bread delivery service / breakfast
Our local baker offers a daily bread delivery service. Let me know the day before until 5 p.m.
On request we serve a tasty mountain breakfast for sFr. 12.- per Person. Let me know the day before until 5 p.m.
Storage room / boot heating room
For you luggage, ski- or mountain equipment you can use our storage room "Base Camp" and the boot heating room is for general use.
Loundry service
I offer loundry service for sFr. 10.- (wash and tumble dry).
Kids / Babies
We can provide a kids travel bed (for babies until 2 years) for sFr. 20.-/day.
Families are welcome!
The kids love to play around the house and our guests are allowed to use our kids playground in summer.
No pets
No smoking room
Our apartments are new renovated and we are thankful if you keep the apartments clean and tidy. This is the reason why we don't accept pets and we ask the smokers to smoke outside only. Thank you.
The only pet in the house is our cat "Lisette".
The visitors tax is sFr. 5.20 / day per person (over 12 years).

Payment
We ask for a first payment with bank transfer. The bank details you will find on our booking confirmation.
The final payment is required at your arrival in cash (sFr. or EURO).
We don't accept any credit cards.
Cancellation
In case of a cancellation (more than 60 days before your arrival date) you pay sFr. 100.- administration fee.
Short term cancellations (within 60 days before your arrival date) we charge the full amount of the rental.
Cancellation insurance
Do you have a valid cancellation insurance? If not, we recommend ALLIANZ TRAVEL for about 5% of the rental fee.

How to find us....
... by car
Main road from Interlaken approx. 30min to Grindelwald Dorf (village).
After the train station and bus parking lot, turn right towards the parking EIGER+. After 50m (entrance parking) follow the street right down direction Grund. After 200m you will see your Grindelwald Home GUGGERZYT - it is the 1st house on the left. 1 parking space is reserved for you.
As we live very close to central town/bus and cableway stations, you can leave your car parked during your holiday. Profit of the
free local bus!
... by train
With the regional train you reach Grindelwald in 40 minutes from Interlaken Ost.
The Grindelwald Home GUGGERZYT is in 5 minutes walking distance from the train station.
Cross the main road to the right. Just in front of the bus parking lot, a small, steep
footpath leads directly down to the road Endweg. After about 100m the Chalet Guggerzyt is the 1st house on the left.

Depending on arrival time and availability, we will also pick you up from the train station.

Your family Bohren
Christian (born 1974) is a masons and works mostly here in Grindelwald. He is the diligent craftsman in and around the house! In his free time he sings in the yodelling group and is a passionate skier and motorcyclist.
Sandro (born 2008) is very active. He is an ice hockey player, loves cycling and is a great skier. In his spare time he adores creative woodcraft.
Fabian (born 2014) is our youngest scion. He is a hockey player and loves to to play with his friends in and around the house! He is always there and erverywhere where action is....
Matthias (born 2006)
is our oldest son. He has now started his appenticeship as a farmer. The animals, the nature and the farm machines is his patience.
Silvia (born 1980) works in the sports shop in town.
"I am the responive person for all your belongings". In her free time she is loves swimming, playing cards or spending time with friends.
